If its not lowering and your getting the check air ride message, the vent solenoid in the compressor is bad. I had the same thing happen back in the day to my 94. My solenoids weren't clicking either. Cause I did a lot of research on it, just for the fact the solenoids not clicking had me...

And on my 94, The shock (strut) is what is wrong with it, not the actual air bladder. So if they are not rebuilding the strut part, you could end up with a bouncer like mine.
