Well went to the JY today and didn't find squat, went to leave in my mark and I could not get it out of park(engine running or in run position with brake pedal depressed). So I hit the brake pedal a few times and still couldn't, however if I stomp on it, it shifts fine.........Any ideas would be great. I was thinking possible brake switch sticking and it not letting me shift?

Had something similar in my 95 Town car. When I got under the dash, I noticed the brake light switch was burnt to a crisp. Installed a new one and six months down the road, it burned up. I bought the connector from ford and replaced it, and never had another problem. Make sure yours isn't overheating. First sign is the connector will look warped.

I had the same problem a few months back on my mark. The switch turned out being fine, just had a broken wire in the connector that wasn't making good contact. Eventually the wire broke completely off and I had to get up under there and solder it back in.

Mine was pretty easy to replace, getting to the switch was the fun part. I used the old one as a reference and reused the cotter pin.
