It was a pain in the rear but vehicle running smooth, went to go pumo some 91 octane and for a slin...feels great!!!! Finally....thank you everyone for your input.....
Problem solved, thanks guys and thank you ls4me...us indeed a different protocol...slapped on the old cam sensor from 02 engine and damn engine started right away, running smooth as hell....no vvt but original 220hp v6 engine....swap a success
No the 03 cam sensor doesnt need any input from the vvt, totally separate...the cam sensor location on the 03 is maybe like 3 inches of difference than on the 02, the cam sensors are different too.....im concerned about the mechanical part of the vvt slotted wheel and cam slotted wheel bevause...
No the pcm remains the same....gauge cluster lights come on, engine liight stays on and getting a p0340 cam sensor code...if i try a few times turning key i get the engine on for like 5 secs then shuts off....

hey buddy, that sounds like you have a bad motor mount, shaking occurs especially at lower rpm's then fades away as you accelerate, your engine has very little support...
