Is it just me, or is ~2000 RPM too high for dead flat road at 50 mph? Could this be related to my transmission "E" (p1744) that I get? 2nd gen v6.

Check your fuel pump relay. I had a similar issue with my 95 Ranger. It's in the trunk. Relay number 7. I could tap on mine and it would start. If the other relays are the same, you may be able to switch to test it.

Fixed this. Some ass**** put silicon on it to try and fix it.

I am trying to clean this out. Anyone else seen this? It's almost like adhesive. Gonna have to get out the lighter fluid.
