bad sputter

Morning guys hoping some can help out got a 04 lincoln ls 3.0 have a really bad sputter when set over night first crank n morning it idles high then die down some time cuts off I've tried replacing all spark plugs. all coils. Pcv. Both upstream oxygen sensor still nothing has changed any help would we greatly appreciated

Check the MAF (Mass Air-Flow Sensor)

Wouldn't a maf kick the cel on also one time when i was driving with a half tank of gas it dropped to E and cut off but only did it once

Replace your intake manifold gaskets. That cured my morning sputter. I was about to go mad trying to figure out what it was. Not the plenum gaskets as I first thought. The lowers.

Might consider the IAC (Idle Air Control) Valve too. If it is failing, it can cause idle inconsistencies and will likely not set a code. On #3 on my LS.
