No, it's not a V. Although, with all the mods coming, it might as well of been. I will be at or near the base sticker price on a V. With paint and cost of the front end and side skirts, wheels, lowering springs, the CTS side emblems, Volant cold air intake, B & B exhuast, sway bars, OMG...

20" WHEELS I went with Diablo Fatboys (please don't bite) and the Falken Azenis ST115 20" tires. I originally wanted the TIS 03, but they didn't have them available. I am glad I didn't, because so many 300's have them. Find what you like and try to be original. Good luck :C

bolt pattern I don't believe Cadillac made a CTS in 2002, but if it is a 2003 then the bolt pattern is 5 on 115. Your Lincoln LS is a 5 on 108. If he has wheels with multiple applications then it may. But if he is someone you know, just do a tire swap to be sure. :wrench

Talking springs now I contacted Sprint springs and they said they don't have an application for the 2006 CTS. I have yet to here from Intrax or Eibach, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use the 05 version. Isn't it the same set up?
