    Height Sensor Fix/Repair w/pics

Man you should be taking photos for Chilton's or Hayne's manuals. Your pictures are always clear and anyone should be able to follow the tasks you cover.. Thanks for documenting these things like you do.. I don't have this problem, but if I do.. I will be looking for this..

    95 Towncar Cartier Help ?

Search in here for window motors... It may not be the whole motor, just some nylon bushings that wear out. I fixed mine in 30 minutes for 5 bucks... If I see you haven't found the thread on it, I'll try and find it for you. A member on here, Sixlitre, posted a link to a step by step, with...

    92 Town Car Stalling

Yep, my fuel pump sounds like it's grinding gravel.. lol. My car only has 67K miles on it, but it sat alot, and that's never good for anything. I will check the module out though for sure..

    92 Town Car Stalling

I will check that out for sure. I drove to work today, and really suspect the fuel pump is having issues also. I did make it to work and back (cooler day today) but I could hear the fuel pump struggling from inside the car, and went around to the passenger side and you could hear it from...

    92 Town Car Stalling

I have an excellent low mileage '92 Town Car that runs great, but lately it has decided to stall on occaision. There are no engine codes and the engine light does not come on, it just dies while you're running down the highway. It acts like it just ran out of gas. After letting it sit for an...

    Cartier questions

I have a '92 Cartier and there is no real wood anywhere in it, all plastic. The only vanity mirrors I have are on the windshield visors.

    2001 Harley Davidson Road Glide

2001 Harley Davidson Road Glide Pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful “diamond ice” color that sparkles nicely in the sun. It's actually a perfect match to my '92 Town Car, silver with maroon pin striping.. :) Engine modifications include: Screamin’ Eagle Stage 1 jet kit and air...

    drivers window not working

The thread below was posted by Sixlitre a while back. My driver's side window had failed as well. I followed these step-by-step pictures and was done in about 1/2 an hour. Costs about $5.00 for parts. I have a 1992 model, but I believe this will work for '90 - '97 models...

    Post your MPG

I average 21.5 with my '92 Cartier.. I don't take off spinning tires, but I'm not easy on her either.. Usually ahead of the pack and average 75 mph on my way to work, which is a 35 mile trip one way

Pics of my 92 Town Car

Nice ride! I have a '92 Cartier, didn't get it for the price you paid though! The windows are most likely an easy fix. 5 bucks and 30 minutes per window.. This link has excellent instructions http://www.supermotors.org/vehicles/registry/detail.php?id=9371&s=27702#content

    Help! Window misbehaving!

Very well could be these same little nylon/plastic pieces starting to come apart and catching in the wrong places.. They are cheap on Ebay, and if you follow the pictures in the link posted by SixLitre, they can be replaces pretty quickly..

    Radio Acting up

Don't have an answer for you there.. I know mine has some popping noises like a speaker is shorting out sometimes when I adjust the volume.. Except there isn't a speaker grounding out.. so it must be internal in the stereo.. I don't have any other problems with it though.. I run the...

    Help! Window misbehaving!

Actually... I was able to get the holes drilled really clean.. If I had some touch up paint on them, they would look like they were meant to be there... Which, they should have been there!.. lol I've used similar short cuts before on other vehicles. I had had this door apart for a...

    Help! Window misbehaving!

Thanks for posting this link! I knew what needed to be done to the motor, but, like you, there was no way I was removing those rivets and tackling all of that window gear! Once I saw this, it took me about an hour, maybe less, to remove and repair the motor, put it back in and take the car...
