••••$125 2-year warranty slim HID ••••

I used the big tie straps at Home Depot and strapped the ballasts to the top radiator support right above the head lamps.

Im gunna look at that in the morning, I kinda wanna bolt mine down but I dont think Ill have enough slack in the wires.

I'm sorry but I have to hijack the thread for a sec.

It just looks like the spade plugs on the kit are too big to fit into the car harness, they will have to be replaced or cut sown with wire cutters to fit. I would just go to AutoZone and buy a 9006 wiring harness and do it right. Cut off the spade plugs and put a new $3 9006 harness on it from the store, then its all plug and play. I bought the H11 kit and it all went in perfectly fine in less than 30 minutes for both sides.

Cut the sapde so that it would fit and just solder it into the opposite connector. Then its plug and play. Like I said they leave it up to you to figgure out the connector

Awesome! I dint know they sell those connectors at autozone! U should've said that b4! Ima do that 2day!

But the kit is made for a 9006, so why is it not fitting? Why arent they telling u this in the begining?

For a plug n play system you would think these connecting issues shouldnt be happening.

Unfortunately a lot of these HID kit manufacturers assume that people that install these have some McGyver skills. I figured it out the second I looked at it, some people have no clue.

lol I hear you.

If it can be fixed with duct tape Im good,,lol if not than im f***

I emailed Matt about the issue, will post his reply soon as I get it.

OK i called and ordered the kit on 10-11-07 and paid 35$$ for next day shipping and today is the 14 and still no lights. When i contacted the company they said it may be that i am not within one day away??????????? thats B/S cause they have the service for next day. I am begining to think this company is a joke so buyer beware.

As I stated to you on email and I'll state it here:
Order Placed on 10/11/07
The USPS Express Mail site shows that their service is 1-2 Day. USPS Priority Mail is a 2-3 day service. Both services are similar if the locations overlap. It’s possible that your location is not a 1 day away location but the cost of shipping overnight is $35 flat rate. It means expedited service from us and the post office. Overnight service via FedEx is definitely more guaranteed but costs $55, and option that is almost 50% of the price of the kit.

Once again, please note that not only did we get the product out less than 1 hour after you purchased it, it was en route to you not 2 hours later. More than that, I cannot do.

This company is no joke. Do your research pall. This where allot of the HID and Angel eye kits end up coming from!

Next day shipping means they get processed and shipped right away but it still may take day or so more depending on where you are at to get them to you. Since when did anything come in the mail or anything like that on Sunday? I guarantee they will be there tomarrow, they would be there by today but nothing happens on a Sunday!

Oh and if you put the order in late in the day, that may have something to do with it also.
You're right but Express mail screwed this one up pretty badly. Certain things we have no control over. Scream at the post office man, that's all we do all day:p

these HID kits are very easy to install. It took my 30 minutes to do both sides and my HID ballasts are broken in and light up every time I turn the headlight on. VERY well worth the money. Its the same install for both Gen1 and Gen2.
They are easier than 30 minutes. It's 4 minutes to swap bulbs and 5 minutes to mount the ballast and 21 minutes to stand and admire them. :D

JfEdS3UsS, Im gunna put that pic up for you. The one showing the wire and the connector...

Jfeds3usS - you are going about it thinking it's more complicated than it is.
The HID ballast has a red plug on it.
pro50W4.thumb.jpg

that plug is the only thing your car's plug will go into. There is no need to use the adapters with spade plugs on the bulb for any 9006 and 9005 applications. <-- red so you can relate the plug from the car to the plug from the ballast. It's direct.

No need. the plug goes into the ballast as shown above.
The H11 kit however requires the spades - those spades are narrow/thin and will slide right into the H11 harness plug from the car.

I don't usually say this on HID kits, but it might help you to get a professional installer. I've looked over this post and the suggestions and I think you'd be better off having someone that does installations look it over.

Tom can walk you through it but he's basically going to do it exactly like what I laid out above.

Ok, hopefully this is my last/only post - happy installing:):)

Man Im sorry but u r wrong, the red plug wont fit my car's oem plug, thats what Ive tried at first assuming it was that easy, but it wont go all the way in to lock, I 'll go take a pic and show u.

OK, the pics are in my gallery, if somebody can please post em or tell me how to do it!

Dude has anyone with 9006 bulbs installed this kit correctly? I have emaield Matt and I see he has coem on here saying same thing he did to me in am email, buttt if it was as easy as you say than the guy with the problems would have figured it out by now.

I doubt he is a dumbass,, if was as simple as red plug to plug in than this shi** would have been done.

You say its plug n play yet not one here with 9006 has plug n played them yet.

And ur answer is, your not doing it right, or ur makin it harder than it is, etc...

Sport has the H11 bulbs so his help is useless "no offense Sport", its a different setup.

SOOO how bout some pics, or diagrams or something showing the "simple" install on a 9006 bulb?

That way we can see it and you can show hwo easy it is exaclty.

Please note that the customer wasn't sure if he should fit it in correctly. He just didn't press in hard enough. Now that he did that, he's good. It's not hard to do.

Got mine!

Got mine today. Now if the freaking car would show up tomorrow (it's been delayed almost a week) I might be able to get them installed by Wednesday afternoon.

Everything looks good. All components are there. Everything looks ready to go. :D

I'll be sure to update everybody on the install.
