New to here, first post. I have a 01 continental, When i picked it up i knew it had starter problems. Every now and then when I would go to start it, sounded like the starter was going, but car wouldnt start, no grinding noise or anything. When I would shake the car, or tap on the solenoid, it would start right up, kinda like the solenoid was sticking or something. I put a brand new starter in, same thing, and put another new one in for :q:q:q:qs and giggles and same thing again. But again, I would tap on the solenoid and it would start right up. Thats about as far as my mechanic abilities go. Any ideas? Thanks
