I used the search and found lots of info on my problem but,Passenger side Tensioner broke, and secondary chain as well.had the head re done bent 2 valves..So here is my question I know the cam flats are supposed to be Parallel, but if the cam flats are facing up on one side ,will they be facing up on the other as well(excact same as other side)'Because mine are not..I can't afford to buy/rent the timing kit to use to be sure it's right as I'm out of work right now and money is tight.Could you guys please help walk me through getting the timing right I have the cover off and ready to learn thanks in advance....

Can I just turn the cam flats up on the side that didn't break and just match up the other side to it?

The flats on both sides need to be up at the same time.

Thanks Joe..so is that's a yes? just match up the flats on the side I am fixing with the good side that didn't jump and its good?

I seen there is a little crank locking tool that you use to help hold it at a certain position?I just need to get this car back running asap and I can't afford to put it back together out of time..

All info to help is welcome thanks guys
