02 Front Fascia to a 06 Front Fascia

Does anybody know if the front fascia of an 06 LS will work on a 02 I think LSKoncepts sells the 06 front fascia kit. From the 06's I've seen it looks like the side skirts are the same. Just want to make sure everthing would fit and look right before I go ordering anything. If anybody has done this and can post pics it would be greatly appreciated.

The 06 LS front fascia will fit any 00-06 LS. However, there are a few things to consider:

1. The 06 front fascia is a direct swap on any 00-02 LS but you'll have a slight gap between the headlights and the bumper. The picture on our website will show you that. (you can swap out to the 03+ headlights but that is another story)

2. You will need to upgrade your fog light connectors to the H11 connectors since your 02 LS fog lights have H10 connectors.

3. The 06 side skirts will fit the earlier LS's but the 06 rear lower valance will not. It is three pieces and ONLY fits the 03+ rear bumpers.

There are several LvC members that have done the 06 LSE front fascia swap. I'm sure they'll chime in with their experiences.
 
02 to a 06 Fascia

If I would upgrade to the 06 headlight's would this remove the gap?, and where would I purchase them I dont see them on the LSKONCEPTS site? Also the picture of the Black LS, the After picture with the 06 Fascia is that the original 02 side skirts shown, I can't tell a difference between the 02 and 06 side skirts, unless its an LSE which has noticeably different side skirts.

wildstang607 has one of the nicest 00-02 to 06 bumper conversions on here and so does HDDave

I just ordered my front fascia from Ken and I'm really excited to receive it. So i will post pics of how it turns out and my body shop is going to eliminate the gap for the headlights so i will let you guys know.

The right way to eliminate the gap is to buy the 2nd generation headlights and the header panel from 2nd gen also this will leave you with no gap and a cleaner look. You can find the headlights on ebay for a decent price sometimes and the header panel can be ordered through your local ford lincoln dealer or from team ford.

for sale

I will have left and right HID 2005 headlights already pre-wired for the 2000-02. for sale in a couple weeks when my car goes off for the winter. If anybody is intrested. I will need your wiries though the high and low beam as well as the turn signal.

Brooks - That's my black '02 LS on the LSKoncepts site and yes those are the original side skirts - unpainted and all....

Thanks 02V8Sport - I still think your wheels are one of the best looking for the LS. I would have gotten a set of those if I could find them anymore!

Im going to stay for now with my 00-02 Headlights since i have new Xentec 6000k HIDs and i just bought 6000k HIDs for the LSE Fogs...but later on i will definetely do the swap of the headlights

Thanks Dave, they will be going up for sale in a few weeks and possibly the car too.
