02 Lincoln Ls. had to jump the car the other day now low beam headlights don't work?

Good call.. It looks like there is two fuses (one for the left and one for the right) for the low beams.. I would check that first

I don't think this car has a headlight relay

There is an SSP relay that headlight power passes through. It is in the trunk.

There is a headlight relay inside the FEM (not user replaceable).

If equipped with factory HIDs, there is a replaceable low beam relay. (Gen II only, I think)

I didn't see one when I looked through the lists real quick

No, you are right in that there is no specific, replaceable, headlight relay (except for factory HIDs on gen II).

If the SSP relay isn't working, then he would be out more than just headlights.

I assume that this means that the highbeams do work?
What about the flash to pass?
parking lights?

If everything but the lowbeams work, and you don't have HIDs, then your two best (but not only) remaining possibilities are:
1. Both lowbeam bulbs have burned out.
2. The FEM is defective.

FEM = Front Electronics Module

HID = High Intensity Diode..

HIDs are lights that produce a lot of output

I've never seen a high intensity diode, unless you are counting super bright LEDs in that group.

Quit picking on me!!! :lol:

I correct it..

I can't pick on my son right now, he's sick (cold/flu/whatever). I guess I'll have to look for someone else if you won't fill in.

Anyone got anything else to add? I will check the bulbs tonight when I get home. Also. what is a SSP?
