My 03 came with HID lamps, I want to replace the high beam and fog bulbs with HID looking bulbs. Anyone know what brand and color most closley matches the factory HID's?

Get the 9005 Hoen Xenonmatch Plus bulbs for the high beams and 9145 Hoen Xenonmatch bulbs for the fog lights. We sell them at www.lskoncepts.com.

Also, some folks are using the 9005 Xenonmatch Plus bulbs instead of the 9145's for the fogs. You might want to consider that.

Thanks for the info. Any reason for using the 9005's instead of the 9145's?

They are a little bit brighter since they don't have the painted tip on the of the bulb.

I just did this mod with Hoen bulbs from LSKoncepts and can say the Hoen bulbs match the Lincoln HIDs very well -- much better than the yellowish halogen bulbs that come stock. Go for it!

Ken,
If I wanted to do this to my 03, what pieces would you recommend for the headlamps and the fogs?

I would recommend getting the H11 Xenonmatch Plus bulbs with the heavy duty connectors. Then get either the 9145 Xenonmatch or 9005 Xenonmatch Plus bulbs for the fog lights.

not trying to imply anything by this question, but isn't it better to have yellow in the FOG lights becuase it will help visibility in fog?

Probably so but some folks want the fog lights to "match" the rest of the lights. I have the All-Weather bulbs in my fogs and like them.

just ordered my xenomatch plus 9005 for the fogs i cant wait to get them and see what everyone is talking about. then ill need teh lows and the connector when they come in.
