Got the connectors in today and immediately installed them. Motorcraft WPT-758 and Motorcraft WPT-971 Headlamp connectors ARE interchangeable. I asked for the 758's, got the 971's(by surprise) and they DO work. Same plug.
For future reference, there are 3 sets of wires coming out of the backside of the plug. These are the wires which need to be spliced into the OEM wiring. I will be describing the wires in a Top to Bottom / Left to Right manner.

The top two wires are for the High Beam, the middle set of wires are for the sidemarker lamp(if you choose to use...I did not). And the lower set of wires are for the Low Beams. Simply splice in, solder, and heat shrink. Wrap back up with loom and you are ready to install. In case you wonder why Halogens, until we somehow get the alternator issue figured out, I am pulling enough current already and still have not installed the power hungry nitrous. So....Halogens it is for now. Hope this helps someone down the road. Here are a few pics...
