Is it the little latch peg thingy that snapped off? I had that happen to mine and managed to fix it.

exactly, but the way mine snapped, there was no bringing it back.

Is it the little latch peg thingy that snapped off? I had that happen to mine and managed to fix it.

Both my little pegs broke off and I couldn't get it to latch closed. I ended up drilling out the pegs and reinforcing the pivot with a small nail, cut to fit and superglued into the center. It has been great ever since.
