cars worth like 8k or 8500 id offer them 9k depending on how good of shape its in
 
Even with all those miles, they have to be highway milage which is better the city. Am I right?
 
yeah thats true but i would rather get an 03-05 with 50 or 60k miles for 7 or 8k then just put the lse bumper on it ya know lol
 
Also would be outta warranty in 2,000 miles, could be incorrect tho..
 
The headliner looks a little saggy at the front. Drive it and make sure there isn't a high pitched tone between 2500 & 3000 rpm. If there is you're stuck with it. I've been looking for a solution for almost a year! The seats need a good cleaning and conditioning.

What do you mean by high pitch tone. Also on my ls I need new valve cover gasket, sway bar bushing, most likely a sun roof motor(sun roof doesn't move at all). Going to the junk yard for a new fender, need brakes, driver heated seat doesn't work, needs driver side cat. Etc

Now you guys tell me.

It is a tone that lasts between a second and two. It only happens once after each start-up. The pitch is quite high, it's just that I still have "perfect" hearing and it is quite annoying to me. It only affects cars with NAV and AdvaceTrac.
 
You need to turn your music up. I can hear it if I don't have the tunes beaten hard enough ;]
 
You have the THX system right? Where do you listen to your music? I usually play it a few clicks over halfway, and sometimes when I am really feelen it I play @ 3/4.

I rarely get over a quarter. Half is LOUD and 3/4 is almost painful! I have the bass 1 bar over half and treble 3 over.
 
^^^ Same here. Half is too loud for me. Usually go one bar under a quarter or a quarter for the loudest, unless I have the windows down I do one or two over a quarter but never half way.
 
Damn you guys must not like the THX system... You gotta give that beast a workout from time to time!

Au-contraire mon ami!! I live the system. The clarity is music to my ears. I just want to still be able to enjoy my music when I'm 70!
 
I listen to music at about 1/3. The only time it's more than that is when I'm at the starting line. Then I put in Booker T doin' 'Green Onions'. I turn that all the way up, but I have a helmet on so it's OK!

The 06 are much higher then that around here, more like 15000 to 17000. but do you guys think if I sell me car for about 6000, and I can work this down to about 9500. Do you guys think it is worth the extra 3500

ehh imo i would rather get an 03 with less miles for cheap. at the same lot as that car they got 3 other ls's they got a nice white one and a black 03 ultimate for i think 8
 
I had that "high pitched tone" checked out when I first bought my 06. I was told by two different dealers that it is the Advancetrac cycling through it's start-up. Basically a systems check for the Advancetrac. It annoyed me until I found that out.
 
Sorry to hijack, but how about a 2006 LS with 28k miles and the base radio, no HID, black and silver interior, for 13k?
