Can any of you guys give me an estimate on what I might run at the track. Its a 93(obviously), with exhaust, shift kit, K&N filter, and sticky tires.

15.2 ? LMAO!

14.30's or 40's sfifting at 6k with traction control and od off with optimal conditions.

I ran a best of 14.8 in my 93 with your chip, exhaust, maf, complete tune up, and I ran that time only because I heated up my tires first. you'll get probally 14.8-14.7 at the track

14.30/14.40 is even funnier...especially without a converter or gears and just with what's listed.

Ok explain how myself, Ken Kropac (14point6)Walt and many others went these times with just those mods, dude I went 14.60's DEAD STOCK.

What were the conditions? These cars will lose a half second or more with ease with ANY humidity and heat.

I ran 14.5 with 3.73, MAF, chip and exhaust in my Gen II

80-85 degrees and fairly humid.

I've seen you say that time and time again. And time and time again, everyone comes back from the track running much slower times.

Thats about right in those conditions. These cars run best in low to no humidity and COLD weather. ALL cars run better in the cold but I cannot remember a car running THIS MUCH SLOWER in the heat then the Marks.

Well all I can tell you is Me, Tommys Girl Tiffany, Nightsky, NYSbadmk8, Ken Kropac, Viss, MYmarkviii, Phatz etc, were all just posting these times and never running them.

Again heres Mike Gilberts times (Nightsky) with a DEAD stock Mark VIII and JUST EXHAUST.

I took the speakers out of my car this time.. I'll have times for you later, but I know it was 80 some degrees out with 70 percent humidity and I ran a 14.7 at 96 mph. If I get my 60 down like XLRVIII (mine is 2.20-2.26) I'll do better. Best time in cold (40 degrees) was a 14.4. (This is with just exhaust)

dude who are you? would you like me to scan in say, 10 random timeslips that prove my time?

I ran a 15.04 at 94.79 with a bad 1-2 accumulator piston and springs (broken into 3 pieces each), 3/4 tank of gas and in fairly warm conditions with OD switch on (button was broken). It should run in the 14's later this fall without too much of a problem.

my first time to any track in any car, was with my mark and i ran 15.25@97mph...since, iv ran 14.97?@98-99? stock/stock. (second run was fresh with new plugs and wires, and home made slicks... go for the 14.3!

Well, My car has hung with or pulled away from 14 second cars easily. I dont know, Im still expecting a 15.5 or maybe faster. Not getting my hopes up.

Do I even want to know what home made slicks are?

lol, just a way to say, i burnt all the tread off the tires..lol

tires just aint cheep enough to be losin' em like i do. Usuially i just go to the junk yard, and get a matched pair off of something that just got wrecked.

Im going to the junkyard to get some rims/tires from a t bird or cougar. Now would the rims fit on the rear?
