Ken Garrison just built me a CUSTOM two piece FULL CHROME grill for my LS and I can't wait to install it!

Its the crowning touch on the new LS, and my final mod.

I'm getting a stiffy just thinking about how it will look as I'm motoring about town with the new bright grill!

I can't wait for the dealer to view the car now when I roll in for my complimentary 5000k mile service.

Awesome!

I have been considering that myself... can not wait to see pics!

Damn, that will be really nice man..

I was looking for 2 grilles to make em one chrome one for a while but couldn't find none..

Some pictures up please.

Here's what you do. You just buy the two piece LSE grill Ken has on his site outright and then send him YOUR GRILL with the black insert. He takes your grill and the two piece LSE grill and makes one full chrome grill out of it. He has to grind off all the plastic attach points and then he epoxies the two chrome units back together from the back side. From the front it looks perfect.

Buy the grill from Kens site and then pay him for his time to make the mod and you'll have a full chrome grill!

I'll take pictures this week end and post here.

I just got a two peice 03 grill last night for $50.00 to do this. I will be keeping the 05 LSE grill for when Ken finishes the CDC grills. Hey Ken how are thec CDC grills coming anyway?

It has been put on hold until after the first of the year. I'll pursue that as my #1 project then.

I paid $129 for an LSE grill froim LS Koncepts and then paid Ken Garrison about $50.00 to take my grill (2005/ls) which had a black center section and chrome surround and make a full chrome unit.

So, if you have a TWO PIECE grill already WITH A CHROME surround then it will cost YOU $129 + $50 and some freight charges. Its about $190-$200 when its all said and done.

If you already have a grill with a chrome surround and you find another used grill you with a chrome center you can save some money. But finding a two piece unit to take apart is not easy. If you happen to have one this is good.

You could also try to jew Ken Garriosn down on his "fee" to do the conversion but his time is worth something and I felt $50 was reasonable.

If you had the two grills in hand you could also do it yourself with a dremel and expoy.

To buy the donor unit from LS Koncepts AND pay Ken to do it will run you almost $200.

Just finished my chrome grill. Don't mind the emblem, the paint is drying outside (red).
This should go very well with the foose wheels I get tomorrow.

You think your the first person to do this? LOL, original idea!
Your 300 HP also cost you twice as much as mine.
Merry Christmas!

I think the full chrome grill will look good, the problem is you will look just like a Towncar going down the highway. I have to look twice when an LS or Towncar is coming at me to see what it is.

I think Lens Crafters is having a sale on glasses this time of year. The two cars look nothin alike.

What IF you just spray painted the black inset with Chrome paint?

HOnestly, it's a good idea, but I'd think it would look like crap. It would be a 20 footer at best.

I was at the dealer and saw the Merc with a grey grill next to the Nav. with a Chrome grill. Not a good look, but just a thought. What is a 20 footer?

20 footer, I think he means that it looks good af you are lookin at it from a distance of 20 feet and more.

Exactly. You just don't get the best effect with "chrome" paint.

Hey Ken,
We have same color 05 and I always wondered what it would look like with the all chrome grille. So could please post a picture when it's installed. I had to choose the LSE grille because Grayghost wasn't making them yet.
