Vacuum pump!!!

A vacuum pump is a pretty expense tool to only use a once a year (or so).

If you still have any pressure in the system there is no room for air to get in, so the need to evacuate the system really isn't called for. I would add some dye to the system and buy a black light to locate the problem and eliminate it.

Understand this is just my experience from when I worked on cars for a living. And I certianly would never tell someone not to do something, but I recently priced pumps and they ran as high as $500.00 for the good ones. With so many neat things to buy it just seemed extravagent.

As far as high school music......

Four Tops, Impressions, Temptations, were some of the ones that topped the charts in my fressman year. I listened to the Moody Blues doing "Go Now" in 1966 then cross over to "Days of Future Passed". Could only guess at the reason for the change of style.

Too late. The system is actually empty. Vacuum pump is gonna be ~borrowed~ first :)

Found a good one at $320.00 but, again, I'll borrow a co-worker's first :)

I thought they may have run into" Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" like the Beatles did.

With that many cars its worth having, I'll come by and borrow yours when I need one.
