1992 towncar fuel pump wont run

I have a 1992 towncar 4.6 l w 105000 miles fuel pump reley has 11.7 v at term 30 pink/black wire key off and 0 v when jumped to term 87 green/yellow wire fuse is good at power dist box but resistance from fuse term and reley term is 20k to 50k where does the pink/black wire run found 2 wire plug by firewall seemed fine please help pump will run if jumped from term 87 + battery

It would be best to follow the wire from the relay back to the fuse box to find out where exactly it is broken. Jumper it first to the fuel pump to recreate the loss of voltage and use a simple lighted probe starting from the fuse panel and go along the wire until you loose voltage. It should light the light at the fuse panel and until the break is found.
