My dad has a 1994 Mark VIII and the cruise control went out on it. Then like a week later the turn signals went out along with the brake lights. The cornering lamps work and the 3rd brake light works. All fuses are good. Is is in the coulmn or the flasher mechanism box??? We are stumped :/

Thanks, Vic

could be multifunction switch for the brake lights and turn signals.
cruise control is either clock spring or the brake pressure kill switch that leaks.

you should also post this in the regular mark section and not high performance.

Mine was the multifunction switch. I moved it thru its positions hundred times and all started working again. Hazard button was key.

like right on the mark said, cycle the hazard switch a bunch of times and recheck the turn signals.

and the brake psi switch that leaks is (usually) in the passenger front wheel well, in front of the tire. some 93's and early 94's had it under the brake booster and it sucked. id check for the easier of the 2 first. just pull the front edge of the wheel liner back and look up at the brake line that runs behind it its a round sensor with a rectangle plug with 2 wires, you should have a jumper harness installed there also (if the recall was done) you can unplug it and run a jumper wire between the 2 pins, make sure its well insulated cuz it will have power, then see if the cruise works, if so you need a new switch. get one form ford, they have the new style and a replacement pigtail. if that didnt work there is more diagnosing to do
