sup mark viii enthusiasts.. i loved my mark viii until tragically one of my heads cracked severely..or the head gasket is blown. the car is in good condition except for the motor...if anyone would be interested in a parts donar....i am moving out of the state in a week so if i dont get rid of it within a few days im just going to take it to the junk yard...the tires are practically brand new michelin tires and there is a brand new 3 month old coil spring conversion kit installed in place of the air shocks in the suspension..I live on the central coast of california in San Luis Obispo. if anyone lives in the area and would be interested in buying this car for a parts car or to put a new motor in it..i will be selling it for 300 dollars OBO. thanks

I am in SF bay area, and might be interested.

1) how do you know its a head gasget?

please email me any pics you have...condition is critical...I have enough "fixer-upper" Mark VIII's...I'd rather toss our spare motor in a decent car and just GO.

have tow vehicle, and trailer...and cash

last chance

last chance to take this car off my hands...i am moving accross the country on saturday so the car will have to be purchased tomorrow (friday) or i will have to take it to the junk yard

I know its a blown head gasket because with the engine running the coolant system becomes overpressurized with exhaust gasses and the air and gas that is pushed into the coolant system blocks the thermostat from opening and the car overheats...also there is white smoke (coolant) comming from the tail pipes while running and this has become worse and worse as time progresses.
The condition of the car is fair...a few minor scratches and dings on the body..all the glass in tact.. all the electrical works except for the drivers side window doesnt roll down...the interior is fair...there are a few scuffs here and there and natural interior wear...buttons on the thermostat are a little worn...and the factory radio head unit does not work so i removed it along with the CD player i had previously installed. I have no pictures of the car at the moment because I dont own a digital camera... there is a brand new coil spring conversion kit installed on the suspension that was installed about 3 months ago...and the car hasnt been drivin sense...the car will come with a Jmod transmission kit I purchased and never installed..along with a transmission cooling kit i purchased and never installed. also the tires are practically brand new with a lot of good tread and the rims are mint condition factory chromed
