2.25 vrs. 2.5

I'm changing my Exaust. what are the pros and cons between 2.25 and 2.5. need to know so I can order them ASAP. Thanx

Ive had both. 2.25" is better for low end torque. The 2.5" loses torque but doesnt make up in the HP gained dept over the 2.25". Our V8 is very small and doesnt require much more than a 2" unless you have a s/c, t/c, or nitrous.

No, I meant a supercharger, turbocharger, or nitrous.

XCAL2 will not give you enough HP gain to require a 2.5" exhaust.

Go 2.25" you wont regret it.

2.25" for sure, better sound, easier to bend, good enough flow and still have back-pressure, plus should be a bit cheaper.

I have 2.5" on mine from the cats on back because my friend does exhaust work. I would go 2.25" definitely.
