Isnt it the grill from 03+, where you can take out the plastic vertical part. Thats my guess.

the 2 peice grille is where the inner waterfall part detaches from the outer chrome part (or painted part on an lse). that way if you have an lse inner chrome grille and a non lse outer chrome grille, you can put them together and have a stock looking all chrome waterfall grille
