 Hi guys/Gals,

This information may have been posted her previously; however, i am unable to locate the thread. Please help me out.

I need to factory door code for my 2000 Navigator. Soon after i bought it, i changeD the code. I have no idea what i changed the code to. The factory code will allow Me to change the old code.

I know it is located somewhere on the driver side, under the dash, but i have not clue where and what to look for.

Please tell me where it is and if you have any picture of what the general areas will look like, please provide.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Let me know ....Thanks guys... Lincoln Rocks!!!!!

I may be wrong since your navi is newer, but on the 99 we have at school it is located on the Trunk liftgate hinge, Near the passenger side. It says the door code. I say check back there.

The code is not in the back

I know for a fact that the code is not in the back. When i went Lincoln, the technician went under the dash somewhere. I was not paying attention to what or where he was looking. He wrote it down and gave it to me.

Ford used to put them on the trunk or hatch hinges. It was that way for years. I've seen them change away from that the last few years. But I would sure check it to be sure. It will be a piece of white tape with 5 numbers on it. That's it...no indication of what it is. Lately, they have been putting them on the keyless entry module. You will need to find where that's located on your car. Some vehicles have them inside the driver's door panel. It sounds like yours may be under the dash. Lastly, if I'm not mistaken, the dealer can pull the code using a NGS tester.

It's under the dash in a 99

I have a 1999 and according to the manual, it is printed on a tag on the computer located under the driver's side dash. That is where I found mine.
