2001 LS AC Low Pressure Switch Location

Where the heck is this thing at, trying to figure out why my ac clutch isnt engaging. Checked fuses and other things and am trying to put a charge into the system but the dang thing just wont kick on....

NVM, finally found the darn thing. Unplugging it allowed the clutch to engage and take a charge. After plugging it back in the clutch continued to operate.

Weird, there is no low side switch on the gen II, only a high side pressure sensor. (The gen II high side pressure sensor also prevents the compressor from starting if the equalized system pressure is too low.)

Just connecting a charge can and opening the valve should have brought the pressure up enough after a bit to allow the compressor to come on. Running it dry like that probably shortened its like some.

Oh I did connect the can and it was reading pressure in the system, it just wouldn't engage until I disconnected the switch which was on a line just to the left and below the airbox.

Okay, that makes more sense. It was the high side pressure sensor that you disconnected. Probably the gen I doesn't have a low side switch either. Note that disconnecting a low side switch would prevent the compressor from running - you would have to jumper it.
