I am looking to sell my 2002 Lincoln LS. I am heading overseas for a while and unfortunately need to get rid of it. I feel like it would be better to try on here first with those who understand and appreciate the vehicle before putting it on craigslist. After I detail the inside I will post more pics of the interior.
Here are the details:
THE GOOD
--Only 75K miles
--Only mod is a CAI
--Mechanically sound, no issues, no leaks. Tires in good shape.
--I will include an 8 pack of ignition coils
--Leather Interior is free of cracks
--Aftermarket Stereo that is bluetooth capable, mic is set up for phone calls. Aftermarket back shelf speakers, sounds very nice.
THE NUANCES
--AC works but occasionally will get the hot air out of one side, a restart of the car fixes it, however this leads me to believe the DCCV is on it's way out. If I have time I will replace before sale.
--Headlights DO get moisture inside the housing, I did the oven bake and black sealant and I must not have done a good enough job.
I really wanted $4k because I think the car is worth it and has much life ahead of it, however after looking at KBB and Edmunds it appears I was overly hopeful. This car has really declined in value the last couple of years unfortunately. I am asking $3, 500. Thank you for looking.
