The message center will say that the temperature is okay up until the needle hits the red mark and the red warning light comes on. It is not okay if the gauge is anywhere past the halfway mark at all.

Read the forums, the prime suspects for your problem are:
Hydraulic cooling fan speed solenoid.
Hydraulic cooling fan system - contaminated fluid, leak, bad pump, bad motor.
Leaks from the plastic parts of the engine cooling system, including the degas bottle.

(I assumed you meant "temperature." In the event that you did mean "temptress", I am curious as to what an engine temptress looks like.)

lol sorry about that my spell check got the best of me haha, okay ill check in to all that, thanks for the replies guys.

so how much will these parts cost me?

The complete hydraulic fan system is a few thousand. The plastic cooling system parts should be around $500 (does not include the radiator, but that is rarely needed).

so the problem with my car overheating was the thermostat, my mechanic is charging me 90for labor and the part is only 11 bucks is that a good price.?

As long as he bleeds the system properly. That's an hours labour. IIIRC, the Gen1 V8 can be a bugger!
