Hey guys im about at 125k, im the second owner got it with about 94000 miles on it. I changed all the colis on sparks at about 115k or 2 years ago. Ive never did the big 100k tune up or any other tranny flushes or all that. Just get the oil changed regularly. Im wondering what I should really get done and checked out by my local mechanic for maintinance right now. I dont wanna go to pep boys and pay $600 for stuff I dont need

First of all, never go to Pep Boys except to buy parts (and then only if there is no other choice.)

Ideally, you should drop the transmission pan and change out the filter and clean the bottom of the pan. Then, fully flush/exchange the transmission fluid. You may have a great mechanic, but you really need to have this done at the dealer.

Other than that, you may want to change out the differential oil (but you don't have to), and have all the suspension inspected for problems.

I am assuming that the brake fluid was mostly flushed the last time the brake pads were changed. If not, then it should be now. If you are still on the original rotors, then the front ones need to be changed now. The back ones may still be thick enough.

If the plastic cooling system parts weren't changed in the last few years, you'll need to do that soon.

Thanks. I have put new rotors on front and back recently. Im definatly going to price that transmission work. Thank you for your input.

Good question, PM guidelines vs. spending money on what might not need to be fixed

A good mechanic should be able to give it a once over, sometimes you're better off going w/ Dealership since not too many local mechanics know the in and outs of them (always exceptions) of course.

Anybody have other tune up advice? I'm planning on doing a few things to mine as well.

I think the serpentine belt and trans service. I would get the hydraulic fan fluid flushed by the dealer also.
