Lincoln LSE friends, I'm putting the bat signal in the air like Batman looking for a 2002 Lincoln LSE front bumper cover - which is apparently harder to find than a gold mine!

A deer took out the bumper and now I'm faced with the possibility of having the get a standard LS bumper, reducing the LSE population by 1. I really really really do not want to do that, and am willing to shell out some cash for this bumper cover, as I know they can get pricey.

I've tried places in Texas, California, Florida, Tennessee, Washington, New Jersey, New York, and Oregon but to no avail. EBay and Canada's EBay struck out too! I've seen some posts on converting a Gen1 LSE to a Gen2 LSE, and would rather do that then go to a standard LS at this point.

Preferably, I'd like to stay on the Gen1, part# 2W4Z17D957AAA. I want to get my car back to how it was!

Good luck. Those bumpers are as rare as a quadracorns and fairy dust...and almost as expensive! Your best bet is to get the 06 bumper. Less than $300 + paint and you can find them all over the place.

I just helped another member get the LSE bumper from a place in New York a few days ago for $450.:(

I agree with Hite337. get the gen 2 LSE bumper for WAY less.

On the 14th I found one on ebay so they may still have it. The seller is actionautowreckers. They told me $400. I didn't find an actual listing for the part on eBay so just send them a message.

Good luck with the search.

Good luck but as others has said, Gen 1 LSE parts are very scarce and hard to find.

That one is sold. That's the one helped a member buy.

Never heard of the site. Just checked it out and I see they do have a lot of parts. I would call them or email them and see if they will respond.

Guess I haven't been getting the reply notifications for every reply. I know they're expensive and have a large reserve set aside for the hefty price. I'm really trying to avoid a conversion of any sort - I'd rather try to get the insurance company to consider it totaled. I've tried Prestige Bumpers I Florida, the site above partsultmate which is either a busted scam or no longer in business, places I new Jersey, Texas, Cali, NY, Tennessee, Washington, and Oregon to no avail. I'm currently going thru city by city on Craigslist hoping for gold!

Good luck and hope you find one. It's like looking for a needle in a hay stack when it comes the those Gen 1 LSE parts.

Try your local wrecking (er..... recycling facility) yard. They have access to a national system that may be able to locate one for you. The '06 bumper will also need (IIRC) a header piece for the headlights?

Pictures of Manolis LS/E clone. He used '02 LSE side skirts, rear valance, & rear spoiler with '06 LSE front bumper cover. Several members including myself think it looks hot as hell. My $.02. Do the '06 front bumper cover. No one will really know. Except other LS owners. Even most of them will not notice the change.:)

Just use the list of parts numbers. I PMed you with.:)

Thanks for the recommendations everybody, I appreciate it. Just talked to my insurance provider yesterday, they're going to consider the car a total loss since we can't find the replacement. I might pay the salvage fee so I can keep the car. I tried a messaging a couple people on eBay that had other LSE parts listed, but no luck. I messaged a few other companies last night - will let everyone know if I have any luck.

Does anyone know what option had the front bumper lights?

Yours was either an '03-'05 bumper or someone modified the original bumper. What shape were the fog lights?

They do. It was a DOT requirement.

That was LSE specific I guess then.
