2003 Lincoln ls v6 egr

I'm trying to get this beast (egr compression nut) off and I have limited tools so does anyone know the size of the compression nut and standing in front of the car facing windshield, and egr, what is the correct way to turn to loosen it clockwise or ccw?

That may seem ridiculous but in the hot ga sun things can get confusing.

27mm (or was that 32)?
The nut comes off counter clockwise as most do. It is upside down, so you will turn it clockwise as looking at it from above.

Thanks so much! I was able to get it off and it was very dirty. I cleaned it and it seemed to help the problem somewhat. It's odd I got a misfire on cylinder 6 code to, so maybe that is the remainder of the issue.
