Pics/ diagrams of the cabin air filter assembly and strut bar/brace would help.

At this rate, if everyone pays in advance i may be able to pick up the whole car and i'd have an abundance of parts lol

The bar is covered by the cowel cover. The cabin air filter assembly is also covered by the cowel cover.

lol i knew that. i was wondering more how to remove them. I guess ill figure it out on scene.

The cowel cover just goes clipped on and held down on to the brace by the plastic clips i think. Then the brace just has four bolts and maybe two in the center.

The cabin air filter assembly has a bracket or somethinf of the sorts.

I'm missing these so I can't show you pictures or walk you through it.Once you take off the cowel cover, it should be pretty simple to see everthing.

Question

If I had the opportunity to pick up the whole car, what do you guys think would be the cheapest yet safe way to tow the car 60ish miles?

I was thinking of using an 02 Mountaineer AWD V8 with a tow dolly from uhaul. thoughts?

uShip & get Jarrod from Shipping Wars to bid.. he'll bring the price down to $100.

All those K&N stickers, but only has a KKM intake - how ironic.

I towed mines 30 miles from work to the mechanic. Rented one of those U-Hauls that you load the entire car, spent about 125 on the rental and another 40 pumping gas on my friends navigator that I borrowed. Drove on the freeway to get the car with the U-Haul attached, on the strrets the way back. A little nerve wrecking seeing the curve so close to the wheels at times. Needless to say i saved myself 15 bucks on having it towed. I'd say check the towing reates and go from there.

I towed my ls 75 miles for 400 bucks, might be easier to just have it towed if you'll still make out ok money wise.

Thanks Joe.

For some reason, I cant post those links to the manual.

Internet explorer.

When I navigate the manual, it does not change the in the address bar, it stays at the home address.

When you go to click on the section that you want to link to, right click and select open in new tab. Then you can go to the new tab and copy the URL out of the address window.

That's because it's iframe-based. It's basically a window within a window - clicking on links only changes the inner frame.

Cool.

I guess I was the only one who did not know that

You're prob the only one that use explorer as well lol

I think i stopped using it completely around 6 or 7. Then went to firefox now chrome.

if you requested a part, please PM your phone number so we can be in contact when i go pick up the parts on saturday...if i haven't already told you a price

I don't want to pick up parts for people and then have them back out once i tell them the price. Thanks dudes.

Calling me would be quite expensive. Didn't get a PM about the 2 center caps.
