My 40 amp Maxi fuse # 104 keeps blowing (rear defogger). I've tried replacing it and the relay with no luck. The fuse keeps blowing. Anyone have any experience with this issue? Thanks and good to be here!

Unplug your defroster wire where it connects to the window and check with a breaker switch, or attach your 12v test light with the clip end on one side of the fuse terminal, and the probe end on the other side. if it lights up, you have current draw. By using an automotive breaker or a test light you won't go through so many fuses finding the problem. Unplugging the window and re-testing simply rules out a problem with the window circuit itself. I'm guessing your defroster wire might be grounding...just a guess. the guys at www.powerprobe.com have great diagnostic tools for such an issue. Good luck!

Thanks for the info Vegas. It ended up being the antenna module in the back grounding out from a previous repair to that module. They did not make sure the wires were covered. This was from the previous owner. Now the side mirrors and the rear window defrosts fine. The back seat and the pillar covers needed to be removed in order to get to it. Thanks again.
