Hello everyone!

I'm new here and would like to know if anyone had convert there 2000 model navigator front into 2003+?

I like the newer model looks and was hoping they have a conversion out because they have conversion like Escalades and older models navi for other trucks.

Should the oem fenders, hood, front bumper and lights of 2003+ model navi fit onto 2000 Navi's?

If anyone has any information or done this already please let me know.

thanks!

Paul

I doubt it. I tried to buy an '05 bumper for my '04 at the dealership and the parts and service people told me it wouldn't fit. :\

How weird because I would think the all the 03-05 models would be the same! (not sure which if any of these years models changed) I'll look into it more and ask around.

Thanks!

03+05 Nav bumper

My understanding is that the mounting points on the 03+05 Navigator front bumper are all the same. However the design of the front bumper did change in 05. In my opinion the 03-04 bumper make the Nav look better. The 05 redisgn soften the look of the front end. The lower grill opening is wider and they now house square fog lamps instead of the round type. In other words the 03+04 front bumper is more agressive looking, which is a look that I like. In fact if you notice it looks like Lincoln went back to the parts bin and used the fog lights from the 2000-2002 Lincoln LS. The only good improvement on the 05+ Navigator is the 3 valve engine and the 6-speed transmission. The Navigator had only a 4-speed tranny before 2005

Thanks for your info. The only way to find out for sure is by doing things yourself right? Well, when I get enough cash to do the conversion, I'll try to document everything and post them up and upload some pictures when I ever get it done.

But at the mean time, if anyone else know anyone who had done it! Pleae let me know.

Thanks,

paul
