I have a 2004 Aviator that the dealer said needs a new seat blower motor to get the passenger side seat heater working again. Part # 2C5Z-19N550-AA. They want $335+ for the job. I found the part for $100-$150 online and from reading some other posts it sounds like it wouldn't be too difficult to replace. Does anyone have any advice?

retail is $192.00 and LVC members pay $144.00 GOLD members get a better discount.

I got the best deal from Team Ford. I thought I would report my results for anyone who reads this post in the future. I ordered the heater blower/motor and decided to install it myself. After trying to get the seat cover off by undoing the plastic clips and peeling it back I found that you can't get to the blower/motor from the top. I unbolted the seat from the frame (4 bolts, very easy) and tipped the seat forward to expose the blower. All I had to do was remove 3 screws, the two ducts, and the wiring clip. It only took about 30 minutes once I figured out that removing the seat was the way to go. It has worked fine since. Hope this helps anyone who has the same problem.
