2005 LS Review

Let's not forget the ever popular http://www.streetkiaz.com/

What the deuce? Someone dropped a deuce on that car!

I think the buyers of the LS are becoming younger as the car gets older.
This is true of EVERY CAR. Young people = generally broke, so they buy cheap cars. Old cars = cheap cars. Old people = generally rich, so they buy new, expensive cars.

I though the review was spot on. The LS really was a great step in the right direction, but it fell flat on its face because it was too damn expensive. And then Ford scrapped it when it didn't sell worth a turd. Rather than refining the platform, putting in some tried and true tested and proven Ford parts :cough: 4.6 :cough:cough:, and bringing the price down the second time around they decided to jack around some more, and flushed a good chance at attracting the lower middle age buyer crowd down the toilet. Hell the LS could've given the M5 a run for it's money with a supercharged 4.6 under the hood. Bring the price in 25 grand cheaper and all of a sudden you might win a few buyers from the 4 door sports car market. G35, M5, S4...

I also agree on the rear seat leg room, this car is HUGE on the outside, what the hell happened inside?

In the position i have my drivers seat when driving its ridiculous to have an adult sitting behind me. Even the passenger seat which is a little farther forward my son has alittle difficulty getting in and out of the back. I had to pick up my wifes parents from the airport not too long ago and had to fit four adults in the LS. The position i had to put my drivers seat to fit someone behind me bordered on dangerous for me to drive like that. I have wondered if the a/c seat function made the seats too bulky or something. The fact that the LS is rwd and having the huge hump in the middle doesnt help either. I have been in plenty other rwd cars that didnt have as big of a drivetrain hump that the LS has. As i have stated before there are a bunch of little things that have made me want to move on from the LS and the inability to have four adults in the car is one of them.

I found the dealer sticker in the glove compartment after I bought mine. The original owner paid 46k for it new!! My how these things depreciate!

Don't bet on it. My sticker was over $49 and I didn't pay near that!
