It is this time of the year again.
Let’s make this year’s meet even bigger and better.
Last year we had many people attending, with 16 Mark VIIIs present at the event.

I am sure we can do better this year, a LOT better. My neighbors are ready for whatever.

It looks like we have July and August to work with since June is Carlisle month.

Early August is the latest is in my opinion, as we need some of this summer weather.

We’ll do a roll call as soon as the date is established.

Everyone that made it to last year's meet HAS to be there this year as well :D

WE wait LOL..... I am off work July 14th, 28th And August 11th and the 25th.

Steve, don't worry I won't make the same mistake twice in a row.

So far it looks like August 11th will be the date. I have several people inquire about that day, and hopefully it will work out for everyone else.

We are already at 11 cars count, much more to come !

I'd appreciate if we kept this post on topic. Thanx ! :)

Main event will most likely take place in my O driveway in Farmington Hills.

It's easy accessible of I-696, with nearby parking perfect for group photos.

oh, and stock is fine, as long as you bribe us with some good brew ;)

Hey Jeremi,
Make the same mistake twice Na Not you  But August 11th does look good Count me in !!

If I have any money left from my Motorcycle trip out west I'll work on making this meet.

Wife will need something to take her mind off of the two youngest getting ready to go off to school and having an empty house..

Good deal ! The more the better !

We'll work out some hotel accomodations, and there will be plenty of camping space available in my back yard.

It looks like we'll see many folks from all over US again this year ! Don't miss out on this great event !

Sounds great! I had a great time last year.

I'm going to try to bring both of my bone stock cars.:)

Well, one has a J mod trans, and they both have Module VIII's but, I think that's stock enough.:D

Cool!

This is going to be one of the best meets ever.

The midwest chapter has the best meets! Two huge meets in one summer! Again!

I should warn you Jeremi, I don't think I have any enemies.:)

H'mm I wonder what parking will be like Jeremi. Maybe have to use the landing strip LOL:eek:

Soooo... what is the FINAL date & time, and where at exactly. Farminton Hills is close for me, 15 minute drive. I'm down, just tell me where & when! Party!
:dj:
The Woodward Cruise is comin up too...:drunk:

The meet is Saturday August 11. We'll probably be starting around 11:00 in the morning.

It's located near I 696 and I 275. I'll send PM's out with the address and directions, to the people that are attending.

might be interested in this need directions either going camping that weekend or sounds better coming back to michigan. no need for accommidations lived in canton for 15 years just moved year ago to illinois. i will stay w friends obviously know where 696 is but where from there? is it def on 11th sounds good. is a friend or friends welcome if coming with me?

Yes, it's definatley the 11th.

This is going to be a great meet!

I'll send out the exact directions all at once, a few days before the meet. I'm hoping we can get more people to come.

In light that I was not able to find a mark to my standards yet I will not be making the meet. But like my dad always says, if you can't beat them, join em. And if your not invited, crash it. So i will be organizing the first annual Crash the MI MarkVIII meet. The rest of us non markViii ownin mofo's are comin. Your yards gonna look like a used lincoln dealership. See ya on the
11th! :D

You're welcome to bring other Lincolns as well, but since this is a Mark VIII meet, the Mark VIII's will be given priority on parking spots, for photo ops.:)

So far there are over 20 Mark VIII's that are going to attend, and last year we were only able to get 16 cars in the driveway anyway.

I'd really like to see some other Mark series cars too.
