2nd gen auxiliary coolant pump source?

Hello All,

New to this forum but not to working on my 2005 LS V8.

I fear that my auxiliary coolant pump has gone bad but I cannot currently find a new one for the 2nd gen cars. I have no problem finding this pump for the 1st gen but no love for the 2nd gen, only used parts on ebay.

Are the 1st gen and 2nd gen pumps the same, basically? Does anyone know where to get a new auxiliary pump for a 2nd gen?

The pictures of the 1st gen and 2nd gen pump look the same to me, but I don't know for certain...
It looks like you can still get one new from Jaguar, part # C2C6517. You might have to reuse your rubberized mounting bracket (it just slides off), as the Jaguar one looks different.
