Ok, I just now realized this when I was about to change my fog light bulbs today. I bought a 2nd Gen LSE front bumper from LSKoncepts last year, and had a shop switch my old one (standard/non LSE bumper), paint it and install it for me. They had the fog lights working and everything. But today, I discovered that they had actually just glued the actual bulb to the fog light housing. Apparently, my car (2003 LS) has the wire harness of a 9145 bulb (old bumper fitting), while the fog light housing has a fitting for a H11 bulb. Are these the wrong fog lights that came with the LSE bumper? Is there another LSE fog fixture with a 9145 fitting? Help is appreciated!

My 06 OEM halogen bulbs (LSE front bumper from the factory) for the fogs were H11 and I switched them out to HID H11 bulbs. No 9145 here.

The round LSE fogs take an H11. You need to get a new H11 plug. Well, a pair of them.

This is why I only use reputable shops. Nothing shoddy like glueing a different bulb into place.

I've been looking online for something like that, maybe even some wire hardness adapters? Where could I find something like that?

No prob. Glad I had that site saved. It's the only place I've seen that offers anything like that :D

the old "glue the wrong bulbs in" trick, haven't seen that one in a while

That sucks, they could'ce atleast told you you had the wrond bulbs.

Be aware that you might need h8 bulbs. I bought an lse bumper as well about 3 months ago and order h11 HIDs. When I tried installing them, they wouldn't fit.I check the oem bulbs the fogs came with and they said H8 on them. They are very similar, but the wider tab on h11 is wider than the wider tab on the h8 bulbs, thus not fitting inside the H8 fog light. I just filed down the wider tab on the h11 to the same width as the h8 and problem solved.

LSE fogs are h11, BUT, I'm thinking they stop making the h11 fogs and only hae h8 fogs now or gave me a comparable fog that used h8 bulbs instead of h11.

Is the plug the same? Just different tabs for securing the bulb in the housing?

Same here, I bought my LSE fogs and they came with H8 bulbs. I just bought some heavy duty harnesses and spliced the ends into the car with bullet connectors.

I think the plug is a little different, very similar so prob some small filling down would work.I cut the connectors way back when I did the fog projectors so I didn't check. I just have a little square connectors that plug in to the harness pins as of right now

Pretty sure my LSE fogs weren't H11 standard, They are now and the H11 is a lot brighter.....I don't run fogs all the time at night like most do, only when there's no opposing traffic. When I do run across one coming my way I nail them with the H11 fogs and 9 times outta 10 mine are brighter, I can see the driver in the car lit up when they go by......

I know the H11 wasn't an issue fitting the fog lamp itself but I think a tab had to be removed from the bulb electrical connector (pretty simple if memory serves) to allow the harness to plug in correctly.

I had the same deal Rodewaryer, no problem in the actual fog fitting, but I had to flip the electrical connection on the bulbs harness. I just thought the HID manufacturer had the wire lines reversed? They popped right out and popped right back in in seconds. I didn't know it was a universal issue.
I do know that my OEM fog bulbs were H11 though.

Maybe the kit comes with H8 and the stock setup is H11? Seems weird, or maybe a mid-cycle update...?

I just ordered the 2006 bumper from Tasca and didn't even think about the fog lights. So from what I've been reading i'm going to need a plug 'n' play harness n order to get the fog lights to work, anyone know where I could finid one? I plan on putting in some Hids.

Oreilly's. $7.99 each(at least where I live). Autozone and Advance did not have them. Just bought them a week ago with the bumper conversion that was done on my car. I am running Halogens but I would think the plug is still an H11 pigtail.

Just ask for Universal H11 adapters.
