3.9 heads

Pete I don't mean to sound like a jerk here but you have been on this forum a total of about two minutes, and based upon your previous posts, it seems that you do not know much about modding vehicles. I would stay away from giving tech information, especially solid numbers, until you know quite a bit more and/or have performed your own in-depth testing. I don't mean to rain on your parade here but I cannot stand it when newbies read one or two tech threads and then assume they know it all. You have done that crap before in at least one other thread too. Unless you know this stuff and do your own testing then stop posting hard numbers about it that may have been taken out of original context.


What tech advice have I even given in this thread? If you read properly I was relaying information that was told by others in other threads about doing headers (And by my mistake I thought the guy who made this thread meant HEADERS when he said "Heads" which I have already apologized for) So I have yet to give ANY information unless it is something I have already HAD issues with or have done on my car.

Pete what ILLS is saying is the same thing I've told you a few times.... and so have others. You dont know the performance side of things...or mechanical... or anything other than you like the way your car looks. Sit back, post on the wheel threads and read these kind of threads. its ok to not know this stuff. We all still learn new stuff. Its why we have these discussions. but if you think heads and headers are the same then you REALLY have no business in the convo. And sure as SH1T dont have any biz trying to throw any numbers out there! I wouldnt trust you if you threw out a tire pressure! We're not being mean. Were telling you to learn first then start discussing this stuff.

Really want to discuss this stuff then post threads asking how they work, or PM someone who knows. There are three or four people I call on a regular basis to talk tech with....... and i've been doing this a long time!


bottom line is this. You dont know it. Its ok, we all have to learn. Ask your questions and get the answers, but dont give tech info or advice until you can back it up and be right.

You were quoting information out of context. Not really helpful.
 
I actually have a set of heads off a 2002 that had 78k on it if you are interested make an offer.
