6o6o Install

Trans
clutch
flywheel
Throw out bearing
Pedal assy
master cyl
Custom length driveshaft
Lengthened pcm wiring
Relocated shifter (depends on which trans you choose)

Forgive me if this has been mentioned, but it's been 6 months since reading this thread... Does the PCM not need a special program for the lack of the electronically controlled (and probably monitored?) 4R70W?

Yes you will need a tune. You will also need a speed cal for the auto throttle and air suspension to work correctly.

Not necesarilly (sp)

I ran my 94 with stock tuning for over 5 years. Only reason I stopped was because I scrapped it out.

I'm curious about the PCM mounting, more than anything else.

The 6060 is on "the list" (though one of the last things) so this is an interesting thread. As someone who usually considers himself a "wiring guy", the whole PCM harness lengthening business is still something I would really, really like to avoid.

Looks like fun, I just know I'd break something with a stick in the car. That and its only rated for 600ftlbs.
I destroyed a few rear ends among other things in my 70 judge running through the gears.

Bah, put a trans brake on that thing and let her rip. LOL You might need a shift light though. I won't because I have a slushbox automatic. :p

stupid question, whats a wopee vent? and whats effecting by loosing it in place of relocating the computer there?

With a 6060 or any manual swap for that matter, does the tranny cross member need to be relocated or a different member be needed?

The Whoopee vent is the one that feeds cool/hot air to your Ball area. Sorry, don't know about the member thing but you can see it clearly in the first 3 pictures in OP's first post.

Pfft, I'd just as soon move the PCM and add some sort of boost method to that crotch vent. :D
