8.8 irs kit

on american muscle site has the 8.8 trac loc thst is for use with solid or irs rears. the only irs kit is for 99-04 cobra. i obviosly know the 98 lsc has irs. but did the 98 cobra? and will this kit work. it appears its the only one for irs they sell, whats the difference?

I was referred to a guy on a local forum here in the Charleston area. He is widely regarded as the guy to go to in the area for any gear install, and has been doing it for a long time.

He recommended the Ratech brand from his own experience and feedback from his many customers.

What I've listed up there is the Deluxe install kit that includes bearings, seals, shims, bolts....everything. The other link is a "smart crush sleeve" that he also recommends, although I don't know enough about it to know why. lol.

If you don't need the bearings and axle seals, you can use this kit, and it includes the smart crush sleeve:

Yup, got a set of 4.10's going in, and since I still have the original pumpkin, I'm just having that one set up outside of the car, and will just install it whenever I get the chance. The set up is gonna cost me $250. Had a couple other guys offer to do it for $200, but this guy comes so highly regarded, I figure it should be worth the extra $50...

250 for set up isn't bad. i was quoted more like $400 around here.
but i didn't look too hard because i had planned on doing it myself anyway.

400-450 around here broward powertrain. they have done all my cars used to be 300-350,who knows im going to look in miami i think ultimate knows someone down there. anyways ive got to get one piece at a time im so broke i cant pay attention.
