Does anyone know if the high beam sensor behind rear view mirror over rides manually turning on high beams? I can flash my high beams and when I pull signal lever towards me it clicks and when I release it the hign beams go out. I have replaced high beam/signal light switch but still can't turn high beams on manually.

Hmmm...Could be the high/low relay. But i would unplug the sensor and replug it on the rear view mirror. It could be the sensor to. On the 88 years ago i had this problem. I turned out to be the sensor i jumped the two outermost wires on it and then they worked. Apparently it was the sensor.
On the 88's the high beams would automatically turn on when on rural roads or very dark streets. At first i could not figure out how to turn the damn setting off. LOL. Did not want a ticket.
Unplug it and reconnect it first before jumping to other issues.
