hello this is my first time posting here i always find the answers in past threads where i dont need to start my own.. thanks!

but i just bought a 93 mark VIII.i have another 94 mark without the premium sound and i hooked everything up just fine..this one has the JBL premium sound and the cd changer was broke so i was gonna put a pioneer cd player in it and remove the old radio when i did this i bought the wire harness and hooked it up and then i bought the amp delete harness and hooked it up and i get no sound out of my speakers am i doing something wrong?Ive tried to have the amp hooked up and not hooked up no sound either way.and i noticed the harness i bought has one for the power and everything like that and the other has a plug for the speakers the cd changer plug goes unpluged as dose another 2 prong cord.i noticed when the cd changed cord is unpluged from the stock radio it puts out no sound??

thanks any help would be great.

I just rewired the whole thing when I did mine not that hard to do just time consuming.
Got sick and tired of trying to get sound you don't need the amp with a good head unit.
Once you do get it wired you will notice the speakers suck because there old and you will want new speakers.
Its easy and less time to just rewire it

Yea.......What he said. :I

I had Bestbuy install a cheap Walmart Pioneer stereo, they put in an adapter that incorporated the JBL Amp (stock) and the stereo sounds great! I dont care for Bestbuy or Walmart that much, but hey, it was cheap ($200 total) and sounds awesome! Good Luck!

Ok so I have a 93. Stereo sound started to go a little crappy and then the rear driver side speaker seems to cut out. Then some crack head broke my antenna off due to it not going down anymore. Then one day driving alon listing to the radio, it just went out. No loud pop so I don't think the speakers blew. The radio works and lights up but no sound.

Is there a fuse to the speakers or amp blown or is it the amp? should I try and bypass the amp like stated b4? or should I just redo the whole system via Bust buy?

Couldn't of come at a worst time for the wallet.
