Ok need help with this. Went to the store as I pulled in I tapped a pole in front not enough even to transfer paint. Did not lock car came out and drivers door was locked unlocked car from pass door got in drivers door pulled out and it stalled , would not restart acted like its out of gas.
What I've done so far.

Anti-theft was flashing so I disconnected it.
Checked fuel cutoff good even jumped connections
Disconnected battery let sit ten minutes
Replaced fuel pump relay with another good relay
Fuel pump was replaced six months ago

Now I'm lost as to were to check next besides its dark out and no real tools with me.leaving car in lot overnight.

U may have switched the emergency fuel shut off switch to click by itself. Not sure on the location but check that and then see if it helps. After about 1o minutes of trying if no luck disconnect battery and rest computer. And check fuses.

The fuel shut-off (inertia switch) is located in the trunk, I think it's a red button. I knocked mine out by taking a turn too hard with a bottle of sprite in the trunk.

It's purpose is to cut fuel in the event of an accident.

You'll want to crank for a few minutes to fill the lines back with fuel after cutting it on.

cycle the key.
on, count to 5, off. on, count to 5 off. about 6 times.

this runs the pump for a few seconds to repressurizes and purges the air from the lines.
then you won't have to crank as much.

I checked fuel shutoff and even unplugged it and jumped the connection no help there

It always flashes on mine when it's not armed and the car isn't running. I'm pretty sure you can't just disconnect PATS on this car, you'll likely piss something off. 'Course I don't know what you mean by "disconnected it".

It's quite possible a closed circuit there shuts off the fuel and an open one turns it back on. Still you can listen for a fuel pump. I really thing unplugging PATS was a mistake. Mine always blinks when the car is not running and the door is open. I really doubt unplugging it disarms it.

After searching on here about anti-theft it seems alot of people have unplugged unit with no issues. I did think it was odd that the anti-theft was able to be bypassed that easy. Will plug it back in when I get to car this morning. And mine was flashing fast while cranking, tried to disarm it with key in ether door, horn does not blow if the alarm IS going off so don't know of its armed.
95 does not have PATS system ford did not start that till 97

So I got to car this morning and still wouldn't start. Had some tools with me and my dmm, checked fuel pump relay no power, checked 20a maxi fuse BLOWN! Replaced fuse started right up , oh and I did plug back in anti-theft first.

when you crank the car does the check engine light stay on or go off? if it stays on its not getting a pip signal. check and or clean the crank position sensor. i had this problem a couple of weeks ago. mine was crud on the sensor.

Mine comes on when I turn the key on but when it's started, I don't ever see it anymore, until the next time I turn the key on.
