97 base w/warped door panels (and I don't mean Star Trek warped)

Because my ride parks outside all the time, her interior door panels have warped. The guy that redid my window tint recommended using Weldwood contact cement on them as he's had great success. So that's been done but, frankly, I don't think it will hold in next summer's heat even though I vent the windows (another reason for those window visors) . What can be done to correct then prevent this in the future (short of building a garage for her?).

I can't help but wonder if I can install some J channel between the window rubber "squeegee" and panel to hold it in place. Anyone heard of such a thing or am I talking out my a$$? Both sides are presenting this dilemma.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm guessing she means the vinyl has separated at the top of the panel, looks like the panel is warped then.
Mine did it years ago, it was a NC car. Contact adhesive, some paint sticks, and a few clamps do the trick if that's what it is.

To help prevent this use one of those big sun shades that cover the whole windshield

Had the same problem in 2003 when I lived out here in the mojave desert. Used super glue to hold it down and it lasted 7 years. Now after being here in the desert another 3 years it has seperated from the door again. Gonna try gorilla glue this time.

i suggest you make a habit of putting up a sun visor covering the windshield as previously stated also try your best to park your car in a shaded area

OK, boys...here's the requested pix (sorry for the delay, life got in the way) The first two are of the driver's side, the second two are of the passenger side. I'm still wondering if there is a J-channel that could be used to keep the vinyl panel locked down because, as you can see, the vinyl is lifting already.

I'll have to see about getting a windshield sun shade, but I need to correct the problem before I can prevent it <shrug> Bear in mind, they've recently been reglued with a contact cement (following the instructions, allow it to completely dry then reapply and allow to reach tacky before adhering) so I'm uncertain if glue over glue will give me the end result I'm looking for (but I guess my options are somewhat limited, eh?)

Mine's like that also on the driver side. Anybody tried Gorilla Glue? Or does the contact cement work better?

So that's what people mean by warping door panels. When I did my comp install I noticed both doors had this issue in areas but not to the point where it was visually displeasing. I simply used super glue and those clamps that you used and redid the whole seam on both doors, she's been great since.
