97 mark viii ipod adapter/mount

hey i was wondering if they have any good ipod adapters and a mount i could use with my mark viii.

Any mount will work. You cant interface directly so will need an mount with FM transmitter or a tape thing.

I have an adapter from RCA to Ipod jack. I havent seen the rear of my head unit but I guess you I cant use this either then? Is the tape with the wire our only options if we want to stick with the stock deck?

No, you can use an FM transmitter that takes the sound from the iPod and transmits it to the stock head unit on a predefined radio station.

I've used both FM transmitter and Tape Adapter. Tape Adapter sounds MUCH better. I ran a multiplug Cig lighter adapter into the console and keep my Zune in there as well as plug in my phone charger. I hide the tape wire as much as I can in the seams of the console. It's not perfect, but it works very well.

Get a better FM transmitter and find a station that's as empty as possible. A good FM will be better than the best tape adapter IMO.
