97 mark VIII LSC question

I just went to look at a 97 LSC and it didn't have an underhood light......my 95 does.....is it optional, should not have it or was the car maybe wrecked?

My 97 does not have one either. Must be another Ford cost cutting measure. I thought the same thing this car has all the bells and whistles on not even an underhood light.

thanks...i was worried it was smashed.......the front end has zero stone chips which i found hard to believe.....but the car only has 29k

I've thought the same thing before. With as many lights as my 97 has, you'd think there'd be one under the hood. But alas, no.

My 97 doesn't have a light under the hood too.

My 94 has one, my 96 did not. My 94 also has the lighted door key cylinder, my 96 did not.

They stopped putting in the underhood light in 96...

gotcha...so like i said earlier..maybe there's a light convience group...that has the underhood light and the lock cylinder lights? my 95 has both

my '98, of course does not have one, my friend was the one that noticed it first....to me theyre useless, at work we just unplug them
