The shop let it drain for about an hour until no drops dripped. And used a loc-tite/sealant type of stuff on the converter bolt so it would seal and not leak.

Other full synthetics may work as well as Amsoil, IDK.

I've used Mobile 1 synthetic trans fluid in multiple Ford products with good results. Engine oil too.

However it seems the Mobil 1 trans fluid is incompatible with the torque converter clutches of some Chrysler Corp. vehicles... causing shudder.
