anyway if it does not fix it i will put another tranny in it, i will look for a 98, you guys said it a better tranny than the 95 96 97 , anyway if i can't fine a 98 around here what else can i go with? thanks again for the help (again) :L

ok, that was alittle tough, less try this, anyone out there, having any problems with their 1998 tranny? lol :dancefool thanks :gr_hail:

I know pre 98 can only handle 350 hp where as the 98 and above are can handle almost 500hp

If you find a 98 tranny make sure it is a PKE-AD MK8 tranny. Then it has all the upgrades done to it for sure.

98+ tranny here!
I swapped it into my 94, Along with a Mach 1 torque converter, new TCC solenoid, new MLPS, and JMOD'd separator plate.

here are the other upgrades my tranny has.

-Shorter Reverse Servo: E0AZ-7D189-AVMR
-2.7" OD Servo: F75Z-7H188-AA
-OD Servo return spring: F2VY-7F201-A
-Top 1-2 Accumulator Spring: F75Z-7F284-BA
-Pressure Control Solenoid (EPC): XL3Z-7G383-AA
-1-2 accumulator piston: F7AZ-7F251-AA
-1-2 accumulator cover: F4AZ-7F247-A
-2-3 accumulator piston: F7AZ-7H292-BA (AA) (AB)

There is some wiring work you will need to do to get the 98 tranny's newer style circuit board to function with your older ECU, but that's a cinch. If/when you go to do the swap, let me know. I can walk you through all the little details you need to do, none of which are difficult(trimming the TCC solenoid plug, main wiring plug/hanress mod, etc).

Nice upgrade...the mechanical diode OWC is near bullet-proof, and if you consider any main control mods, your tranny will be a ton more fun to enjoy. :0
